Obituary for Edith Gail Bleazard (Schuenman)

Print
Edith Gail Bleazard, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on November 24, 2018. Gail was born on September 6, 1934 to Richard Frederick Schuenman and Edna Arvilla Edwards and was a loving, devoted daughter. She met the love of her life, George Albert Bleazard, and they were married on December 6, 1952. Among those who preceded her in death are her parents, her sweetheart George and her siblings —Quincey (Ruth), Forrest (Pam) and her beloved sister Jean.
We will remember Gail for being a woman of faith and hard work and for her love of the Savior Jesus Christ. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Gail served in many capacities with dedication and love. She and George served together in the Sharon, Vermont mission as senior missionaries. Gail’s service to others and her quiet influence for good will continue to be felt for generations to come.
Gail was a perfectionist in everything she did. From quilting and sewing to her ability to create a meal fit for a king, she mastered it all. She always went beyond the mark with her talents and creativity and you could always count on her for a job beautifully done.
Gail’s greatest legacy, as she often stated herself, is her family. She was fiercely devoted to her four sons who adore her and revere her as the angel mother she was. Among Gail’s four sons, 16 grandchildren and (almost) 29 great grandchildren there are 14 return missionaries,14 Eagle Scouts and 4 beautiful granddaughters who each lived lives of dedication and faith. Her sons, Steve (Robyn), Brett (Whitney), Scott (Debbie) and Jeff (Mauri) rejoice in the heavenly reunion that is hers as she is embraced by those who awaited her return.
It is with much love and appreciation that we give thanks to the many family members, friends and ward members, the medical personnel and caregivers who valiantly served Gail in her more recent years.
